Protocol
The action area extends from O Freixo to Barquiña de Outes. It is divided into 11 zones (A, B, Classification, D, E, F, G, H, I, J and K) (See map). The waste classification area will be set up at the beginning of Broña beach (in the same place as in past cleanups).
Each zone has a group of participants associated with the corresponding coordinators.
We will register at 8:30 am at the meeting point in the parking lot of Broña beach, and from here we will walk to the different cleaning zones, except for group A who has to travel by car to the O Freixo fish market, and group K who goes to the Barquiña de Outes pier. The classification place is at the western end of Broña beach (we have already been classifying there); at the end of the cleanup of our zone, we will walk to this point, to help with the classification and sign the attendance sheet.
IMPORTANT: Everyone must sign the attendance sheet before leaving, in order to justify their participation (also signed by the president of the group); a copy will be given as proof. The minimum working hours are 4 hours. The place where the attendance sheet will be signed is the classification area, at the west end of Broña beach, and the people in charge are the members of the group’s board.

WARNING
Section D (Bendimón River) is the most physically demanding, as we have a trough to remove, which must be undone with a hammer to be able to remove it.
Getting to section J is a bit complicated, due to the uneven terrain.
We will classify in the collection areas.
Things to take into account
Be careful with unknown liquids – do not pour!
Bulky, transport without putting them in bags.
We also collect small plastic pieces, as they are the first to enter the food chain and can affect seafood. (They are no longer separated separately, the plastic is counted all together)
