Protocol
The action area extends from Punta Albán (Outes) to the Noia promenade. It is divided into 9 zones (A, B, Classification, D, E, F, G, H and I) (See map). The waste classification area will be set up on the esplanade below the old Seilán hospital (in the same place as in past cleanups).
Each zone has a group of participants associated with the corresponding coordinators.
Roll call will be taken at 8:30 a.m. at the meeting point on the esplanade below the abandoned building of the old Seilán hospital. From here we will have to travel by car to the different cleaning zones except for groups D and E, who will walk. At the end of the cleaning of our area, we will travel back to the meeting point to help with the classification and sign the attendance sheet.
IMPORTANT: Everyone must sign the attendance sheet before leaving, in order to justify their participation (also signed by the president of the group); a copy will be given as proof. The minimum working hours are 4 hours. The place where the attendance sheet will be signed is the classification area, on the esplanade below the old Seilán hospital, and the people in charge are the members of the group’s board of directors.
The number of people in each area is adjusted to the amount of garbage there is. If the group we are in has many members and others need more people, we must have the flexibility to change groups.
WARNING!
Sections D and E, in Punta Peón, are the most physically demanding, since we have to take a long walk, and then take the bags to the collection point under the viaduct (vehicle access to the tip is not possible).
We will classify in the collection areas.

Things to take into account

Bulky, transport without putting them in bags.
We also collect small plastic pieces, as they are the first to enter the food chain and can affect seafood. (They are no longer separated separately, the plastic is counted all together)
